1. Confirm the type of foam sample, such as ordinary foam, high rebound, slow rebound, etc.
2. Choose different kinds of raw materials according to different types of foam.
3. Determine the proportion of different raw materials according to the hardness, and adjust the proportion of 3010 and 2045 (the total amount is 100).
4. Determine the density of the sample (generally adjusted by water and MC, rule: the more water and MC, the lower sponge density) and other physical properties, including resilience, flame retardancy, adhesiveness, porosity, hardness, etc.
5. According to the performance of the sample, determine the preliminary formula for preliminary experiment, and test the sponge.
6. During the experiment, the feasibility of the machine should be considered. The temperature of the mixture and TDI should be controlled within the range of the machine operation, generally 20-25 ℃, in strict accordance with the data ratio of the formula. The index range of TDI is generally 102-120.
7. After the end of the experiment, it is necessary to cut and compare the physical properties with the samples or reports provided, as the basis for further adjustment of the formula. If it does not meet the requirements, continue to adjust the formula and carry out the experiment until it is qualified. After the customer confirms the sample, the preliminary formula has been determined, and the foaming parameters (including mixing head speed, mixing head pressure, air injection volume, conveyor belt speed, mold width, swing head, etc.) need to be set before operation.
